铝合金是以铝为主要材料的诸多合金的总称,合金元素主要有铜、硅、锌、镁、锰,次要的合金元素有镍、铬、钛、铁、锂等。铝合金在工业中是应用比较广泛的一类有色金属结构材料,在航空、机械制造、汽车、航天、船舶等铝合金中已得到大量应用。
 
然而对于这种铝合金材料上留下的油污油垢,用市场上很多清洗剂清洗过之后常常会在铝合金工件表面留下白斑,而且不好去除。这种表面问题实际上就是铝合金材料发生“剥落腐蚀”的结果。剥落腐蚀是金属浅表面的一种选择腐蚀,腐蚀是沿着金属表面发展的。所以铝合金不耐强碱,在清洗的时候要选择铝合金专用清洗剂,这种清洗剂还具有除蜡光亮作用。
